5th SCOTTISH BUSINESS DIVERSITY AWARDS

On Thursday 11th November 2010 The Scottish Union of Supported Employment (SUSE) will be hosting the 5th Annual Scottish Business Diversity Awards (SBDA) at the Caledonian Hilton Hotel in Edinburgh.
SUSE would like to invite the Regional Areas to participate in this unique opportunity to recognise and promote local employer's commitment towards a diverse and equal workforce and acknowledge good practice.
A ‘How to Toolkit’ is now available to download: -
The toolkit will assist you in the following areas : -
- Organisational Commitment at Regional and National Level
- Regional and National Action Plan
- Publications, Promotional Material and Stationery
- Identifying and Targeting Employers
- Regional: The Judging Criteria, the Awards and the Judging Panel
- Hosting the Awards
- Linking with the Scottish Business Diversity Awards
Experience has shown us that promoting the fact that disabled people can work, through this event, is exceptionally cost effective. The event generates publicity and press opportunities, allowing the message of
“Employment for All” to be sent to disabled people, employers, families and the public.
